Anstine Shen is a swordsman, as you can tell from the picture. You can also tell that he's a massive poser. Don't let that fool you, though: he's more than capable of fighting. Born in China around seventy years ago, he moved to SimNation in his early twenties and has since then lived in many different parts of the country.
Anstine became a fairy after deciding he wanted powers and an extended lifespan, and only ended up that way because he drank the wrong potion. Still, he finds many benefits in being a fairy, such as the many pranks that suit his light-hearted nature just fine.
He is the fiancé of Tony Bolton, having recently become engaged after a somewhat unconventional proposal. In his days off, Sunset Valley is now his permanent residence. Personality wise, Anstine is for the most part quite laid back. He's often found cracking jokes, usually very inappropriate ones that make Tony despair. His sense of humour is pretty immature for a man of his age, and he's definitely young at heart. However, he can also be hot-headed and impulsive, something that can have consequences.
