Isaiah Exner, who would prefer to be called just Isai, is a grumpy werewolf from Midnight Hollow. Indeed, he smiles very infrequently. One might think that he is depressed, and to a certain extent that may be true, but stoicism is also just his natural personality. As such, Isai can come across as rude or disinterested, even when he doesn't mean to be.
As you've seen, he works in a science facility with Miles. Poor bastard. Isai's field of expertise lies in botany, something in which he takes a deep interest. To him, plants make good company. Apart from the ones which bite.
His hobbies include martial arts and spending time with his massive, insane family. One of them is Topaz Exner, his older sister.
As the eldest of five, Topaz likes to take on a maternal role towards her younger siblings, even now that they're all adults. She has quite the nurturing side, probably inherited from her mother.
On the other hand, Topaz is a solider. Currently on a break for personal reasons, she's spent time on the battlefield beside Tony, and has also worked as a drill instructor. Anyone who may attempt to underestimate her based on her kind nature tends to get shut down very quickly. Firm but fair is her philosophy.
Her relationship with Isai can be somewhat strained at times. They love each other, but his desire to enjoy his own company means that he pushes her out. Nevertheless, they live together quite successfully.
